Is PackMate free?
Yes. PackMate is free with 5 trip types and a limited number of active trips. A one-time $2.99 Pro unlock adds unlimited trips, all 11 trip types, text sharing and PDF export. There is no subscription.
What trip types does PackMate support?
Eleven: Beach, Ski/Snow, Camping, Business, City Break, Hiking, Cruise, Backpacking, Festival, Winter Travel and Theme Park. Lists are weather-aware and traveler-aware, and quantities scale with trip length.
How does sharing a trip with family work?
You share a trip over a private, anonymous link — no accounts and no personal info. Everyone you share with sees changes in real time. It's the same Family that links PackMate with ShopMate.
Does PackMate work offline and without an account?
Yes. PackMate is private by design: your data stays on your device and no account is required. Optional services like trip sharing use the network only when you turn them on.
Is PackMate on iPhone or the App Store?
PackMate is in testing on Google Play now and coming soon to the App Store. The iOS launch is held up in Apple's company-registration process, which is on Apple's side, not ours.
